Japanese clubs, delivered to LA

The clubs Japan
keeps to itself.

Some of the finest golf equipment made never leaves Japan. Brands like Yamaha, PRGR and ONOFF sell almost entirely at home, so US golfers rarely see them, let alone hit them. We source them new from Japanese retailers and bring them to your door, one landed price, no guesswork.

Why golfers seek them out

Different priorities, different clubs

01

Built for real swings

Japanese makers design for the golfer most of us are: moderate swing speed, wanting height, forgiveness and easy distance. Lighter shafts and heads that launch without effort are the norm, not a special order.

02

Finish and feel

Look at one up close and you see it: the paint, the milling, the way a head sits at address. These are clubs made by companies that also build motorcycles, tires and fishing reels, and it shows.

03

Models you can’t get here

Most of these lines have no US distributor at all. Importing one yourself means a Japanese storefront, a proxy service, customs paperwork and a guess at duties. We do that part.

04

Honest on the details

These are Japanese-spec clubs: lofts, lengths and shaft flexes follow Japanese conventions, and there is no US manufacturer warranty. We tell you exactly what you’re getting before you decide.

The makers

Four names worth knowing

Hamamatsu, since 1982

Yamaha

The same company as the pianos and motorcycles. Its inpres line is known for carbon-face drivers and easy-launching irons aimed squarely at everyday golfers. The DRIVESTAR series is the current flagship.

Yokohama Rubber, since 1983

PRGR

Short for Pro Gear, built by the tire maker. PRGR made its name with high-launch, high-forgiveness clubs and the “egg” series, and still measures its clubs against real golfers rather than tour players.

Globeride (Daiwa), since 2001

ONOFF

From the fishing-tackle giant Daiwa. ONOFF is the design-led brand of the group: two lines, one softer and more forgiving, one for stronger players, with some of the cleanest looks in the game.

Tokyo, since 1981

Fourteen

A small specialist that made its reputation with wedges and utility irons many better players quietly prefer. Rarely stocked in the US, easy to source from Japan.

Want something that isn’t on the list?

Tell us the model, or just describe your swing and what you’re after. We’ll find the right club, price it landed to your door, and only order once you say yes.

Request a club→

Every club is bought new and sealed from an established Japanese retailer, shipped with tracking and insurance, with US import duty collected up front so nothing is owed at delivery. Custom wraps and grips can be added before it ships to you.
